Basilic Frais is 9.81% natural and 50.53% of natural origin. This fragrance is designed for those seeking not only superior olfactory quality but also an assurance of naturalness, reflecting our commitment to providing products that respect the environment and are ethically sourced.
All our fragrances are developed by Terre de Bougies and made in Grasse in Provence, France by master perfumers. They comply with European(CLP CE N°1907/2006 & 1223/2009/CEE) and French(IFRA) standards.
None of the fragrances in our catalogue have been tested on animals.
Olfactory notes
The top notes are dominated by a fresh note and aniseed. The fresh note immediately captures the essence of the clean air and dewy morning, providing a lively, energising opening. Anise, with its distinctive slightly sweet and spicy scent, adds an interesting dimension that sets the scene for a more herbaceous heart.
At the heart of the fragrance, basil and verbena combine to create a rich, enveloping central bouquet. Basil, with its green, slightly peppery notes, is at the heart of the fragrance, offering authentic freshness and aromatic depth. The base notes are composed of galbanum and clove. Galbanum, with its intense, earthy nuances, provides a rich, woody base, evoking the density of a verdant forest.
